CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
These terms may be changed at any time and specific events may have additional conditions applied to them
We want Venue to be a safe and enjoyable place for both customers and our team, to ensure this, we have the following conditions of entry in place. By purchasing tickets, or attempting to enter the club, you agree to these conditions of entry. If you have any questions, please get in touch - These terms were last updated on 15th July 2022
1 - R.O.A.R - Right of admission is reserved. We reserve the right to refuse entry, without reason. Refusal will not result in a refund of any advance ticket.
2 - You must be 18 or over to enter - We operate a strict challenge 25 policy and only accept the following forms of ID; Passports, Photo Drivers License (including provisionals), Cards bearing the PASS hologram. We may ask for a 2nd form of ID, such as a bank card in addition to any provided ID. We do not accept the YOTI App (Or similar), University ID Cards or out of date passports.
2b - Suspect ID - We may confiscate your presented ID if we do not believe it to be genuine, or do not believe it is owned by you. In this case we will take them to Manchester City Centre police station within 72 hours where you will be able to collect it.
2b - Lone Entry - We may refuse entry to people who arrive alone, please arrange for a friend to meet you outside if they're already inside.
2c - Groups - We may refuse entry to large groups who have not pre booked. We limit the number of large groups inside at one time.
2d - Safety - Please be aware special effects and lighting are in constant use throughout the club. Strobe lighting, flashing lights, smoke effects, co2 cannons and confetti cannons are in use. Our music is loud and we advise all customers to wear hearing protection. Take regular breaks from the dancefloor and if you feel unwell at any time please speak to any memeber of staff immediately.
3 - Face Coverings / Hats - We may ask you to remove any face covering or hat, to allow us to match you to your ID. We may also ask this even if we do not check your ID so that we have a clear image of you entering the club on our CCTV system.
4 - Searches - We may request to search you, and/or your belongings on entry, and re-entry, to The Venue. You have the right to refuse any search but we may refuse you entry to The Venue if you do.
4b - No Food/Drink - We do not allow any food or drink to be brought into The Venue, excluding food / drink needed for medical reasons. Free tap water is available at all bars.
4c - No Glass - We don't allow any large glass items to be brought into the club, such as large perfume bottles, glasses you've stolen from another bar and glass bottles. You must put these into the cloakroom at your own cost.
4d - Prohibited items - We don't allow any illegal drugs, alcohol, weapons (Or anything we deem could be used as such), Imitation weapons (eg, Plastic swords at Halloween), flares (or any other pyro), air horns (Or similar) or Aerosols. We may at our discretion refuse for other items to be brought into the club.
4e - Large items - Large bags, Suitcases and umbrellas must be stored in the cloakroom, at your cost, and will not be permitted into the main club area.
4f - Your belongings - Venue accept no responsibility for your personal belongings, you should not leave anything unattended, any unattended items will be removed.
5 - If you're drunk - We will refuse entry to anyone who is intoxicated upon entry or re-entry, or who we believe to the under the influence of illegal drugs. We will also ask you to leave if you're intoxicated whilst inside.
6 - CCTV - CCTV Is in use throughout The Venue and includes both Audio and Visual recordings, by entering you agree to the recording of you whilst in and around The Venue. We hold this footage for at least 28 days, up to 1 year, and may pass it onto Manchester City Council or The Police, on request.
6b - CCTV - Our CCTV System is owned and operated by us, Pyro Group Ltd, The Venue Nightclub, 29 Jackson's Row, Manchester, M2 5WD.
6c - Viewing CCTV - CCTV is not available for viewing by the public, except with a subject access request, which can be made in writing to The Venue Nightclub, 29 Jackson's Row, Manchester, M2 5WD. We will respond within 1 calendar month. Please be aware, it may not be possible to provide CCTV footage to you if the footage contains other people.
7 - Dress code - Whilst we do not have a set dress code, We don't allow entry to anyone wearing; football shirts, tracksuits, flip flops, steel toe capped boots, hi visibility jackets/coats, wellies, excessively dirty/muddy/wet clothing. We may also ask you to remove any face covering or hat, on entry, so that our CCTV cameras have a clear view of your face, although hats and face coverings can be worn inside.
7b - Relaxing of dress code - We may, at our discretion, relax these rules at times, for example, allowing England football shirts during events such as the world cup/euros, or allowing wellies after festivals.
7c - Tightening of dress code - Specific events may have a stricter dress code, this will be made known to you in advance of any such event by the promoter.
8 - Ejections - We reserve the right to ask you to leave The Venue, or remove you from The Venue, using reasonable force where necessary, without reason. Ejection will not result in a refund.
8b - If you're involved in an incident - We may ask you to temporarily leave the club at times when we suspect you've been involved in an incident, whilst we find out what has happened, we may permit you re-entry to the club after we have found out all the facts
9 - If you leave - If you leave the club, you may not automatically be able to re-enter. For example, you leave the club at 10:30pm and return at 1:30am, we will not hold you a place inside, so may have to refuse you entry if we are full.
10 - Advance tickets - Advance tickets do not guarantee you entry, your entry is still subject to these terms and no refund will be given if you are refused entry.
10b - Ticket times - Advance ticket holders must arrive before the time stated on their ticket, NOT the last entry time of the club. Ticket holders arriving late may be refused entry.
10c - Queue Jump - Queue-Jump ends at the time stated on your ticket, after this time you will need to join the main club queue
11 - Last Entry - Last entry to the club is 45 minutes before the end of the event, unless otherwise stated. This is subject to change without warning during the event.
11b - Last Re-entry - Last re-entry to the club is 30 minutes before the end of the event, unless otherwise stated. This is subject to change without warning during the event
12 - Event end times - Event end times are for guidance only. At our discretion we may end an event up to 2 hours earlier than the advertised end time, without warning or refund.
12b - Event start times - Event start times are subject to change and we may start an event up to 2 hours earlier/later than the advertised start time, without warning or refund.
12c - Event cancellations - Events may be cancelled at short notice, we will do our best to communicate these changes via our social media, and ticketing platforms. Advance ticket holders will receive a full refund but no further compensation if an event is cancelled.
13 - Your conduct - We expect all of our customers to conduct themselves in a decent manner, Venue is an inclusive place and we welcome people from all walks of life, we will not tolerate any sort of racism, homophobia, transphobia, sexism or any other discriminatory behaviour or language, this will result in your removal from The Venue. Any physical aggression or threats will result in your removal from The Venue. Any reported unwanted physical contact between you and other customers will also result in your removal from The Venue.
13b - Our team - Our team have the right to work without abuse or intimidation of any kind, any complaints about customers from our team will result in your immediate refusal/ejection from the club.
13c - Drinks - Keep your drinks with you, Venue will not be held responsible for any drinks left unattended and we will regularly remove any unattended drinks from around the club. Do not drink any drink that you have found in the club. If you suspect your drink has been tampered with, let any member of staff know immediately. Drinks covers are available for free at the bar.
13d - Smoking - Smoking (And the use of e-cigarettes / vapes) is not permitted within the Venue, or within our queue line. Please use the designated smoking area outside.
13e - Damage - You will be ejected for causing intentional damage to our equipment, fixtures or fittings and this may also result in prosecution
14 - Photos - Photos or Videos of you taken by us, or submitted by you to us, such as tagging Venue on Instagram, or photo booth photos, may be used for promotional purposes. To opt out, please get in touch
