PRIVACY POLICY

What is a privacy policy?
No doubt you've probably never read one of these, same really, but seeing as I'm having to write one and you've chosen to read it, I might as well make it easy to understand. A Privacy policy basically lets you know what information we collect about you, how we store it and what we do with it.

What information we collect
This depends on if you're a member or not, as obviously you've either given us your name or you haven't.

All site users
We use Google Analytics to track how many people visit our site, where you come from (e.g from a google search, from a link on insta) and what you do when you're here. This is all anonymous but is tracked by cookies set on your device.
We use Meta Pixels to track if you've come from an advert we've ran on Facebook or Insta, this also tracks what pages you view, and if you complete an action such as buying tickets. Again this is anonymous to us and we can use this anonymised data to improve our adverts. These pixels are also on all of our Skiddle & Fatsoma event pages.

Members
We collect all the information you supply to us on sign up, such as your name, e-mail, phone number, we also then collect data on how many times you visit us and when you visit us when you check-in at the box office each visit

What we do with your information
If you opt into marketing - We'll use your data to send you occasional e-mails/WhatsApps with offers and news about the club. We won't use your phone number for marketing unless you opt into WhatsApp. We use your birthday to send you birthday offers. We use your student status to send you relevant offers, no point us sending you offers in August if you're not here is there!

We use Google Analytics data to make sure the site is easy to use and we're showing up in the right places on Google, for example if we see it's taking people 5 clicks to find information on an event, we'll make changes to make information easier to find.

We use Meta (Facebook / Insta) pixel data to improve our marketing, we may also create targeted ads, for example, if you added tickets to your basket but didn't buy them, you may then start seeing adverts for the event you were looking at.

We use Snap pixel data to imrpove our marketing, we may also create targeted ads, for example, if you added tickets to your basket but didn't buy them, you may then start seeing adverts for the event you were looking at

We use TikTok pixel data to imrpove our marketing, we may also create targeted ads, for example, if you added tickets to your basket but didn't buy them, you may then start seeing adverts for the event you were looking at

How we store your information
Your personal information is stored on our secure servers located in Denmark, within the EU. The server is secure with end to end encryption when you submit information to us, and password protected so only we can see your information.

If you opt into e-mail marketing, we will copy your data over to our e-mail marketing provider Mailchimp using end to end encryption, who's privacy policy you can view here. They can't directly access your data or send you any marketing. We copy over your Name, E-mail Address & Phone Number.

If you opt into WhatsApp marketing, we will copy your data over to our WhatsApp marketing provider Bird using end to end encryption, who's privacy policy you can view here. They can't directly access your data or send you any marketing. We copy over your Name & Phone Number

Should you opt out of E-mail or WhatsApp marketing, your data is still held with our providers for a period of up to 12 months as part of our opt out list. You can choose to delete this at any time by contacting us.

Who uses your information
Just us, Venue (Pyro Group Ltd/Venue Enterprise Ltd), we copy it onto our third party provider Mailchimp as we can send nicer looking e-mails thanks to them, but they don't have access to your information, just us on their service. We also copy data onto our third party provider Bird, so that we can send you WhatsApp messages (if you opt in)

You can contact us at any time regarding the data we hold about you by sending us an e-mail using the contact form. You have the ability to amend any of your data by logging into your user area, here you can update information and opt out of marketing.

To delete your data, contact us here with your e-mail address & phone number.

Opting out
You can opt out of tracking & Google analytics by declining cookies when asked. To opt out of targeted ads from Meta / Snap / TikTok, visit your account settings on their website.

Cookies are used to allow the above tracking to take place, and also when you're logged into the site
